About Many Novo

Circulism(o) was created with my first exhibition studying architecture at the ITESM Campus Monterrey, Mexico in 1992, “The sphere is the most beautiful platonic volume in the universe” and from there everything that surrounds us, from the particles smaller than we know and to even find constellations based on spherical volumes, or from contemplating any straight line as the sequence of many points as Kandinsky explained. Through the years I have always painted in oil as considered the medium of the great masters, for being organic and for all its technical benefits especially the presentation of volumes. Since 2019 I work on projects that are developed in series of experimentation among them: rings and hoops with the optical game created by depths with the study of colors and the magnificent geometric images of crop circles among others.

What's Circulism ?

" El circulo es el volumen platónico mas bello del que nacen cuantas cosas vemos en el universo que nos redea "

"The circle is the most beautiful platonic volume from which many things are born in the universe that reigns us"

Organic Painting (not acrylic)

Oil painting is the process of painting with pigments with a medium of drying oil as the binder. Commonly used drying oils include linseed oil, poppy seed oil, walnut oil, and safflower oil. The choice of oil imparts a range of properties to the oil paint, such as the amount of yellowing or drying time.  An artist might use several different oils in the same painting depending on specific pigments and effects desired.

Although oil paint was first used for Buddhist paintings by painters in central and western Afghanistan sometime between the fifth and tenth centuries,[1] it did not gain popularity until the 15th century. Its practice may have migrated westward during the Middle Ages. Oil paint eventually became the principal medium used for creating artworks as its advantages became widely known. The transition began with Early Netherlandish painting in Northern Europe, and by the height of the Renaissance oil painting techniques had almost completely replaced the use of tempera paints in the majority of Europe.
